djf 0
I am considering buying Flight 1 VFR Scenery pack for Great Britain. However I will not always be wanting to fly VFR as I am ( slowly ) learning to use instruments and to fly at night. Is there a simple way of choosing whether or not the VFR scenery pack loads. If not would it be a good idea to have such a choice as the programme starts up. DJF
OE3GSU 100
Hi DJF! i dont know if there is a commanline-Switch for disabling a scenery, but you can edit the "scenery_packs.ini" in the "custom scenery"-Folder. Simply add "_DISABLED" after "SCENERY_PACK" so it looks like: SCENERY_PACK_DISABLED Custom Scenery/OpenSceneryX/ instead of SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/OpenSceneryX/ If you look into the "log.txt" you will find "(disabled)" after the "Load-Entry" of this scenery. Of course you can have some.ini files (as "VFR.ini, IFR.ini, MY.ini, ,,,) and rename the wanted config file to "scenery_packs.ini" bevor starting X-Plane. best regards Gerhard OE3GSU
