I've been told that a future update will bring the option of turning GNS530 messages off, but, as an interim solution,

you can edit the gps_530.xml file (in the TW_Disp folder)..

Search for "MSGpopup"

<Element Name="MSGPopup">
<Visible>(@g:messagePopup) @kOn ==</Visible>

change to:

<Element Name="MSGPopup">
<Visible> 0 @kOn ==</Visible>
