Aerosoft Airport: Brussels International (released)

Recommended Posts

Looks pretty neat! Will the approach lights be customized to fit on the poles, instead of being on the ground?

Yes, when we have the 3D models in for the light poles, the lights will be aligned with them.

Standby for some more previews today. :)

Some more images. :)

We are aware of errors etc. Everything is work-in-progress and not may not be representative of the finished product. Clutter is yet to be removed from the ground poly. Default buildings may be observed in some images, but they will be removed shortly. ;)

Looks amazing, just gonna ask: Are there gonna be seats, gate numbers ect. inside Pier A? Like we have in the newest release of Oslo.

It is our intention to model the interior, but as you can see nothing has been done yet so I will not make any promises.

I can see on the picture that you can even look trough the glass, cool! :)

And another suggestion: just a detail, but at the daytime the lights on the ATC tower are different from night.

Daytime: 2 bright white lights on the roof of the tower blinking every 2/3 seconds.

Night: 3 Bright red lights, and some lights shining down.

Day and night: A red light on the roof antenna.

Would just like to say thank you very much to everyone who is contributing to this scenery. Everything you say makes a difference.

BlueFinn, it is indeed my intention to make the inside of Concourse A as realistic/accurate as possible

All I found out is that it's a rather new building. In Google Streetview it's nothing but a grass field (the GA-terminal next to it is under construction). In Google Maps with satellite images it's under construction and in Google Earth it's finished.

Near the general aviation terminal Apron 52/53. Must been built in 2013. Strange as it even isn't mentioned in actual airport charts.

It seems to me that this is a new building from the Abelag company.

Here is a news item from their website

http://www.abelag.be/newspost/opening-of-the-brand-new-fbo-at-brussels-airport#more-932

The building to the left is also from Abelag and is on all my old photo's from the years 2009 and 2010.

The street view photos are from 2010 so the this building must be the one from the news item.

I hope to get some info from inside Abelag in a few days.

Kind regards

Jorik

I just found a picture of the hangar in the building face on the Facebook of Abelag company.

The picture dates from 12 september 2012 and shows the hangar frame and the entrance gate (to the left of the picture) between the old and new hangar.

So we are sure this building is used by Abelag.

Kind regards
