Administrator Heinz Flichtbeil 1609 Posted July 12, 2013 Administrator Share Posted July 12, 2013 Hello, with OSX 10.8/9 (MAC) there may be some problems with the Java VM. So the installer window don't work correctly. Please try this way: There is a file 1.6.0....jdk into the folder System/Library/Java/Java Virtual Machines/ . Please delete this file. But make a backup of the file before and save it to another location. Now run the installer again and when the MAC ask whether it should install the required Java VM, then answer with "yes". Administrator Heinz Flichtbeil 1609 Posted July 24, 2013 Administrator Share Posted July 24, 2013 Hello, another way (e.g. with the OSX 10.8.4/10.9) ist to delete the folder "JavaVirtualMachines" (here to find: System/Library/Java/ ) if there is one (but please make a backup before) and then open a terminal. Here type: java -version In the opening window say yes to install the actual new Java Runtime Version. That is a new (fixed) version with the number 1.6.0_51-b11-457.11M4509 (Apple has updated it because of many problems....). You can test it again after the installation with typing java -version in the terminal. So your X-Plane 10 Installer shall work. Greets
