Nathan Palmer 6
First off, love this new addon. Great job with its many user friendly features, modeling and visuals. Being a HeadTracker IR user, their is one small issue with the very top panel view which is for the overhead panel view. Its opposite to the ehad movement. If I look left it pans right, if I look down it pans up and vice versa. Is there any chance to make a file that corrects this as an optional download for the many headtracker users out there? Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted July 10, 2013 Aerosoft Share Posted July 10, 2013 I believe you mean the Twin Otter Extended, the Twin Otter X was the product we made a few years ago. What you could try is to edit the aircraft.cfg. Look for: [CameraDefinition.005] Title = "Overhead Aft" Guid = {882261FC-CA85-11DC-84AC-923B56D89593} Origin = Virtual Cockpit MomentumEffect = No SnapPbhAdjust = None SnapPbhReturn = False PanPbhAdjust = None PanPbhReturn = False Track = None ShowAxis = FALSE AllowZoom = TRUE InitialZoom = 1.00 SmoothZoomTime = 2.0 ZoomPanScalar = 1.0 ShowWeather = Yes XyzAdjust = TRUE ShowLensFlare=FALSE Category = Cockpit PitchPanRate=20 HeadingPanRate=60 InitialXyz=0.39, -0.5, 0.0 InitialPbh=-70, 180, 180.0 What to change however I would not know, nothing is obvious for that. Airtrain 6
I have the same problem with TrackIR. I'll try to fiddle with these settings tonight. But it doesn't bother me that much, because for those "fixed", pseudo-2d-panel views, I prefer no movement at all, that's why I usually temporarily disable TrackIR (via a button on my Yoke).
