Peter Lemmerich 0
Hi there. I am currently using the Flight Calculator and am a registered FSUIPC user. The data FC is importing is wrong. For example. the indicated altitude using a qnh setting of 1013 ist 8500, FC puts 1600 on the respective line. Same for all other data except TAS, WDR, WSP, TH. What can be the problem? Thanx, Peter Lemmerich
Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello Peter, This is due to FSUIPC, it reads the altitude in meters and therefore sends the data to the calculator in meters. There is a thread here regarding this.
Peter Lemmerich 0
Hi Shaun Thanks for your reply. Is there a way to change the unit-output of FSUIPC? Which .ini-file are you talking about in which to the modifications? Regards, Peter
Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello Peter, You would need to speak to the developer of FSUIPC regading the output, he does have a forum here. The Init file i think the developer was refering to was for the Flight Calculator, as this was'nt done then maybe he could'nt do it as per topic of conversation. Hans Hartmann [OLD] 1419
FSUIPC offset 0x0C18: 0 or 1 = altitude in feet; 2 = altitude in meters This variable controls the units used. You can manually change it by setting "English" or "Metric (altitude in feet)" in the international settings in FS.
