Deputy Sheriffs jrotaetxe 242 Posted May 19, 2013 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 19, 2013 Due to a change in the wind direction, have to change the aarival ILS approach BONF in SBSV10 to BONF SBSV28 The problems began whn the new approach selected. The nav tath was lost and all the fixes but the last ones. More problems when selected descent. Strong shakes in the cockpit only solved when all the discontinuities selected. Having no references to descent prior to clear the discontinuities, choose open descent. Once cleared the DISCONT and with a new path, I was UNDER a restraint and was imposible to recober a MNGD Climb to correct the situation. Repeated again the experience, as RWY change is not so uncommom in médium or long distance flights, with the same results more or less. Please, have a look on this.
