kkholidaze 0
Hello. Is there a way to view the world map "Live watch" in MSFS cockpit while flying? If so, how? Right now, I have to minimize and exit FS to do so. Thanks
Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello Michael, Sorry about a Late reply, I'll ask Thomas to check this post out.
Thomas Molitor 24
No that's currently not possible as the map window is an external window and not a gauge and thus can not be displayed inside of FS when in fullscreen mode. The best way to use the map while flying is to use FSFK on a second PC connecting to FS via WideFS. Hope this helps Thomas
involution 0
Thomas, I still feel somewhat clumsy on my first night with Flight Keeper, but the one actual technical problem I seem to have is that I get no "live map" as I fly (I keep the map on a second monitor). The map is simply dead (only the airports, show, etc.) and the one thing I managed was to see my flight track after I had shut down the FS program (again: the report was filed flawlessly, only the link with the live map was missing). Have I not hit a key, or an option, or something? Thank you, and sorry for the silly question.
Thomas Molitor 24
The live watch mode is only available, if you open then map from the flight editor toobar when FSFK is connected with FS. The other map buttons open the map in a default mode. Hope this helps Thomas
involution 0
Dumb me, I was using the other world map buttons and missed the right one, thanks! Excellent program, Thomas, amazing collection of features in there.
