Peter14 0 Posted February 26, 2006 Share Posted February 26, 2006 I hope this is the right place. I have comlete failure to connect the acars gauge. I have tried connected/not connected to fs; I have tried with/without fs open; I have tried with/without fskeeper open; I have tried every button and configuration I can think of and a few a my daughter thought of. I have tried the help pages and totally fail to understand where in the panel.cfg I am supposed to look and for what; Every time I try to connect the gauge simply says 'timed out'. Please don't ask if I have tcp/ip connected = yes! Don't tell me to configure *** unless you are very kind and also tell me How!! I would appreciate all/any help and offer thanks in advance. Thomas Molitor 24 Posted February 27, 2006 Share Posted February 27, 2006 Have you added the gauge via the ACARS Device Installer? Are FSFK and FS running on the same machine? Do you have any Firewall installed? The error message indicates that the gauge is either not installed or the TCP/IP connection is blocked somewhere.
