Dear Support,

Can you help me out: when i click 'set aircraft parameters' in the AES help window i will get an error 'run-time '52': bad file name or number?

I have installed this latest version and bought 2 creditpacks.

Thank you in advance.

Rene

Can you try to start AESConfig.exe direct from the <fs>\aerosoft\AES directory.

That is the same, the Button does nothing else then starting AESconfig.

OK, but the error remains... no solution available? This new software is then unusable for me? :-((

This is the error.. :mecry_s:

Can somebody help me out???????

SOLVED:

What was the problem:

In the FSX.cfg file the path 'simobjectpaths' was completely written down. e.g.: simobjectpaths.0: C:\microsoft flightsimulator x\simobjects\airplanes.

AES configurator cannot handle this complete path.

It shoul be: 'simobjectpaths.0: simobjects \ airplanes

Now it is working.

Best regards,

Rene

Ok,

thanks for the tip, will check this in the code later. Maybe one of your addons has changed that. Will try to get in into AESconfig next version to handle it that way too.
