advocado 0
Hello -- I can't seem to locate the switches to open/close the cabin doors. I see them open a video of the aircraft, but I am at a loss to locate how to operate . Thank you.
pierre6969 1
To open each doors, you have to move front of them, when you are in 3D cockpit view and click on it. Pierre
advocado 0
Thank you, Pierre. I kept trying to find something in the cockpit but never thought of the obvious i.e "Do what is done on the real aircraft"!
Ruhrpilot07 15
Well, if this is the only big difference between fsx and xplaneX, then I'll stick with my pmdg B744 fsx... And I'm saying this although my CLS 747-200 fsx provides cockpit access not only for 1L, but for 1R, for 2L, 2R, etc etc etc... But imho, the max amount of manageable waypoints are far more important than the max amount of manageable doors. And I've not yet reached the max amount of manageable waypoints in my pmdg B744, in contrast to my CLS B742 INS VC ...! But I still love my 742, not only because it's as old as me (1978). You learn to manually fly a 747 on B742, and rather not on a B744.
atgcab 2
You can also press shift+F1 for the cargo door and shift+F2 for the passengers door
