acra24 83
Hello Can anyone say if the sharklets should be lit up during darkness? It's just that on a flight today using the Virgin America A320-2 sharklets the right sharklet was illuminated but the left one wasn't. acra24 83
Hello again, Can anyone shed any light on this. Sorry about the pun. I like the effect of an illuminated sharklet because it's similar to real life since the nav lights tend to light up the tip of the wing. Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted January 26, 2013 Aerosoft Share Posted January 26, 2013 The navlights are designed to shine to the front and side (see the image in the manual). They are not supposed to light up the sharklets.

By the way may I say that your rendition of the strobes are perfect. They look real. Andrew
