iFlySimX 148
Oh for sure running out of memory (main or graphics) could cause it. There are a lot of tweaks going around for FSX that delay the refreshing of texture memory and when you go from full screen to windowed that can cause problems. I mean I have a pretty nice machine and I don't have 50 programs running in the background.......Is this something you would be able to fix? Is this is just due to Memory. Therom1 1
I had exactly same textures. Exactly same black cube. It's a texture memory problem. Don't uninstall your bird but try to increase or decrease your differents details in display.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted January 14, 2013 Aerosoft Share Posted January 14, 2013 Ola, It also happens with me.FPS 34. Well that is an extreme case, never seen it that bad. Could it be you do not have a graphics card but are using something on the mainboard? It got to be some setting. Did you try to update graphics drivers?
jeroenpost 11
Have the same problem. Usually it's solved by flying in window mode. Are textures in external view also corrupt? Big jetengine-fan halfway through airbus...

CPT. Farhadi 23
i think this is caused by "Direct X",if you're using directX 10,uncheck "preview directx 10" in your settings-fsx-,and use directx
jeroenpost 11
directx install gives message that the newest version is already installed.... Looks like it is proper installed. Any other suggestions?
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted January 14, 2013 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted January 14, 2013 Must say that I also saw this, but not very frequently and multiple time switching between windowed and fullscreen solved it, when waiting a few seconds in between. Strange thing: I got this for the first time after an upgraded in November from an old Nvidia GTS8800 with 512MB to a GTX660 with 2GB. I've never seen this before. And yesterday I had it with another addon aircraft (not from Aerosoft).

BlueHazard 1
I used to have this issue too. The VC would go blank and sometimes would completely disappear or flash white and black until it crashed to desktop without any further message. I could solve it by tweaking the fsx.cfg with Bojote's online tool (which adds highmemfix too) and setting the virtual memory to 4gb (of 8gb physical ram). Joshua Che. 1601
Try turning down your sliders instead of trying to raise the ceiling of FSX memory limits.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted January 15, 2013 Aerosoft Share Posted January 15, 2013 Sir Mathijs I have Nvidia Geforce GTX 680, driver 310-90 That should work fine. But for some reason all transparent textures are not displayed correctly. You see the same problem with default FSX aircraft?
