CTD on approach to PHOG, just suddenly crashed no error report

Same CTD problem ( Flight Tutorial EDDF - LOWW )

Keep in mind we need the Windows Event log and need to know exactly what you were doing when the CTD happened. If you had a true CTD, there will be a log.

Hello , i had some CTD since the Release Day. The CTD came at the beginning ... when i was ready for taxi, after the pushback.

Than i have delete the RAAS System and deactivate the FSdata Recorder in the Airbus X Extended.

After that the CTD came perceptibly later, mostly when i change the Cockpit View or rightclick on the Cockpit, came the CTD.

Since I installed Airbus extended i didnt finish a whole flight

Here is the Error Log:

Hi,

it has been the second time since yesterday evening that the Airbus X Extended crahed to desktop when switching over to external view mode.

Any ideas? :mecry_s:

Yesterday I used the default joystick configuration.

Today I tried out the registered FSUIPC (latest release). Same failure.

It is really the best Airbus I have ever flown on FSX.

Cheers!

Uwe

This CTD is not related to the AXE. It's related with the way FSX interfaces to a file called UIAutomationCore.dll. Microsoft has made some changes to this file since FSX was released, and it is causing crashes. You can get a working version of this file from http://forum.avsim.net/topic/384404-my-uiautomationcoredll-nightmare/ (check Paul J's post)

Joshua - this seems to be a fix for a stuttering issue... I dont seem to be experiencing that, just CTD issues when making selections in the MCDU and once while on approach with no real provocation.. just quit to desktop with no error report.

Please try to reinstall the redist:

If you use Windows X64 use this one:

Hi, just to make things clear. I have a lot of Redistributable installed. Before installing the one you've given me on that link do I need to desinstall any of those already installed on my computer ? Just have a look at my Redistributables : post-73684-0-21955500-1355993857_thumb.j

I had some problems like other users here.

CTD

Reverse Thrust

(X52)

Shaking VC

CTD: Had also the Airbus X still installed. uninstall both Airbusses, manual erase Folders (C:\User; C:\...\FSX\) CCleaner. Regclean; Restart Install AEX.

Now: 1920x1080 32Mio, UNlimided Frame, alle sliders at full grafix, lot of addons, traffic 360 (20%), REX Overdrive: i7 8GB Nvidia 460 with 25 fps NO CTD since 11h flight since yesterday evaning ( ADDONs in this time used: EDDH, LFMN, LEPA, EDDK, EDDF, EDDT, Switzerland Prof, FSGlobe (latest).

Reverse: INstalled latest Driver for X52, you have to google, it is not at saitek.. ad a little null zone at the stick (X,Y Axis) and start fsx. then controls: NO NULL ZONE für Thrust and maximum sensibility in fsx. now you are able to shut the engine idle, there is a small marker at the thrust indicators wich have to be full down at the beginning of the thrust scale.

Shaking VC: wait 10 sek. to load the Bus after starting freeflight. than CD or other state.

BUT: not solved: Saving Viewpoints...

Hi I have a CTD problem in VC, doing the takeoff and after going to fly whit no problem untill TOD, just before start to descend, all VC knob stop working and no little white hand showing but only mouse arrow whithout possibility to move the knobs.

If I pass to simil 2D panel (F9) everyting is working well, but if I pass another time to VC the bus in going in CTD.

Any ideas?

Maybe u want try this? Am not a dev or tester am just trying to say what happen to me in the past :)

Did u used enb? I know it give out great colours but ever since i have that my fsx crash at almost anything, even with the most popular fix putting the uiautomationcore.dll din fix that.

Removed the enb and used fxaa injector something like enb with uiautomationcore.dll no crash.Quite a number of ppl i know tried this and work.(posted in other forum)

Maybe u try that?

fxaa injector drag and drop files in fsx same as enb but more option. No crash after that ^^

Just a suggestion :)

I just finished Cockpit Preparation checklist and started to input data into MCDU and when I selected SID and pressed Input, crash. (I was at LDDU, SID MOKUN) Happened twice!

note: this is the only SID I'm having troubles with.
