petermcleland 96
Did a bit more editing with this one, using the Tower Views but putting in Spot View and Panel View versions of a scene in a few places...I rather like it The video runs for eight and a half minutes and is best viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. I'm getting better at staying on the runway with this powerful machine Thanks for looking
HansK 3
Good one, Peter! The low flying parts are especially good, seeing the landscape flash by. I also like the mix of shots you used. What scenery did you use? Or, where did you perform this daredevil flying? Hans
petermcleland 96
Good one, Peter! The low flying parts are especially good, seeing the landscape flash by. I also like the mix of shots you used. What scenery did you use? Or, where did you perform this daredevil flying? Hans The scenery is my own McLeland Field complex...I carved out that ravine as well...I call it "Hell's Gate" and it was inspired by a ravine of that name in the Rift Valley in Kenya...In 1960 in real life I used to fly a Hunter FGA9 into that ravine which was quite twisty and closed up at the end where I pulled up and popped out of the top, like in the video. On each side as I popped out were jets of steam coming out of the ground on the hilltops on both sides. My McLeland Field complex is in much colder climes in Alaska...The general scenery around mine and Russell Fjord is just the default scenery of Prepar3D by Lockheed Martin. Holger Sandmann is working on the region for ORBX and his Southern Alaska scenery is due out next year and will correct the landscape in the general area of McLeland Field, making it far more accurate...Like his Glacier Bay scenery in FS9. Thanks for your interest Hans if you want some more detailed stuff to look at then my PowerPoint presentation covers my time on 208 Squadron in Kenya and includes Hunter stuff:- Unzip the download to any temporary folder and then in that folder, double click on the file 208_Squadron_in_Kenya.pps and it should run with music. http://www.petermcle...on_in_Kenya.zip The download will take at least 5 minutes and you must have Microsoft's Powerpoint to view it...A free download of Powerpoint Viewer can be obtained here:- http://www.microsoft...ca-19d2a8fd7485 or here:- http://tinyurl.com/3ywowm
