Skyflyerification 9
Hi Folks, I need some help with setting up the AXE on a "German" Windows OS. I managed to get the throttles moving, by following Mathjis's instructions, but currently face other problems. 1. The climate control knobs seem to be working fine when I load the aircraft for the first time after installation, but as soon as I load the "Cold&Dark" panel state I can't turn the knobs anymore. 2. The engine 2 N1 indicator's needle turns amber once I start up the engine, but then turns green again once airborne. 3. There's a green line on the ND, which reaches from the aircraft symbol to the current heading at all times, which I cannot turn off, although it bothers me quite a bit when regarding the ND. I hope these problems can be solved, thus making the AXE even more enjoyable!
Finn 873
Instead of just copying the AsInput.dll, copy the entire \AerosoftAirbusExtended\ folder into Your: C:\Users\User_name\Documents\Flight Simulator X Dateien\ folder. Finn

Finn Hi Finn, That's what I did in order to get the throttles working. This might pose a solution to the throttle problem, but causes other problems to arise, such as those mentioned in my initial post. I experimented a bit and it is definately the moving of that specific folder, that is the root of the other problems. Thus I decided to move the folder back from "/Flight Simulator X Dateien" to its original location in "/Flight Simulator X Files". Turns out that everything works as it should, except for the throttles. I hope the Aerosoft Team can come up with a throttle fix in the first ServicePack. Aprilia 4 Ever 35
and what happens if you have the folder in both locations?
Skyflyerification 9
and what happens if you have the folder in both locations? Did not try that and to be honest I don't know what would happen if I duplicated the folder. Let us first hear back from one of the Developers, before we attempt anything.
