Unable to increase throttle, FMC CTD

Recommended Posts

Hello,

First of all, thank you for this great aircraft, certainly x-mas is here :)

Now I am not sure if this is a bug or am I doing something wrong, I have the bus started with no warnings displayed, upperhead clear, however I cannot increase throttle, not with the joystick nor with the kebyboard. The only difference is that with the keyboard it increases briefly and then reduced automatically regardless.( this issue has been persistent, reproduced )

The other issues is that I experienced a crash when programming a simple route EDDM(RWY 08L/ALG1Q Dep ) -> EKCH(IRWY ILS22L MONAK1F Arr), this route had only the respective SID and STAR and no waypoints in between ( for the sake of testing ). The probrem arises when route discontinuity is cleared ( reproduced ). I tried to reproduce the error with another route, this time a complete one with all the waypoint and there was no CTD

Thanks!

Semir

Hi Semir, as for your throttle issue, we need some more information about your setup- what hardware you use, if you use FSUIPC, where your throttle is calibrated to, etc. Also, please see our FAQ section about Throttle issues and see if that helps: forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/56472-throttle-and-fadec-issues/

As for your CTD, I'll inquire to get some more help with that issue. Glad other routes work, and if it happens again, please come back and report it with you Windows Event Log so we can see the source of the CTD. Without that, we can't know what caused the CTD and are limited in our ability to help.

Here's my setup:

System: 2500K/8GB RAM, GeForce 550Ti/1GB and 1TB Seagate drive

OS: Windows 7 64

Joystick: Saitek AV8R-01

FS: FSX SP2

FSUIPC: v4.853 Unregistered ( so throttle not calibrated there )

FSX Throttle calibration: Just as in the screenshot Rambaldi

ASC.DLL and ASFADEC.DLL inf FSX.CFG look fine.

No duplicate controller or anything of that sort.

The throttle used to work fine with the regular Airbus X(and still does). It also works fine with all other aircraft. If I enter the debug mode I can see the numbers for the throttle spiking up and then they fall back. There is also no way to control the throttle by dragging with a mouse ( not sure if that's programmed to be possible? )

[THROTTLE SOLVED]

I have found a solution here: http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/60166-unable-to-throttle-up/#entry428840

It seems the AsInput.ini file is not present at the localised FSX settings folder, copying it there fixed the issue.

Thanks for your time,

Semir

The axis throttle does not work, others work well. In Airbus X all works well.

Joystck - "TM HOTAS WARTHOG".

FSUIPC is not present.

OS: Windows 7 64

FS: FSX Deluxe Edition +Acceleration Pack

Please check this one here: http://forum.aerosof...to-throttle-up/

Please continue posting about this issue in the linked thread to keep the fourms at least halfway clean :D

Thanks for the help, has understood with a problem.

1. Copy the \AirbusExtended\ folder both into Your German and English \Flight Simulator X Dateien\ / \Flight Simulator X files\

2. AsInput:

[Common]

Logging=1

NullZone=0

[FlightControls]

Enable=1

[FADEC]

AxesCount=1

// InvertAxes=1

Event1=AXIS_THROTTLE_SET

// AxesCount=2

// Event2=AXIS_THROTTLE2_SET

Hi,

Quite the same issues as the ones mentioned above. I can't increase the throttle with my joystick and I also experienced a crash to desktop when clicking Return on the MCDU.

OS Vista 32 bit ... I know .. not the best ...

Regarding your OS, it could occur several issue due we reccomend the latest update of Windows 7 64bit - as its very stable and usefull for the FSX. Windows Vista 32bit could make these issue, you have described. For the throttle issue, please see the links Emi posted to you. If there will no sucess after trying these, come back to us.
