Die neuen w2xp-Szenerien sind online!

Europa ist noch in Länder aufgeteilt, ansonsten gibt es komplette Kontinente zum downloaden, außer Nordamerika, das ist auf mehrere aufgeteilt.

Folgende Versionen (Endung) sind möglich:

osm: Gebäude überwiegend mit Fassaden, LOD 12000, kein Autogen

osm-ag: wie osm, nur mit smart exclusions und somit Autogen

hd: Die ganze normale HD-Version mit LOD 18000 und mit smart exclusions / Autogen

Die Kontinente außer Europe gibt es in osm-ag, die europäischen Länder in osm-ag und in hd, vereinzelte Länder wie D+A+CH, F, B, NL, LUX auch in nur osm.

Der Download der alten Dateien der Kontinente OSM nicht mehr funktioniert. Ich erhalte die Meldung, dass der Server ist nicht gestattet (forbidden msg). Danke.

ich habe mir die 0.7.1 HD-Version von W2XP für Deutschland mal installiert. (hatte bisher die 0.6.0 SD-Version)

bin echt begeistert von der neuen Version!

was mir allerdings aufgefallen ist, dass die Windräder genau um 180° gedreht zur Windrichtung stehen!

ein Beispiele vom Windpark in Emden EDWE habe ich angehängt.

Wind aus Norden, Flugrichtung Westen

Dass die Windräder nun sehr einfach dargestellt sind finde ich auch nicht sehr schön.

(vermute mal Performance Gründe, oder?)

Ich habe ein kleine Problem mit der "w2xp_D+A+CH_hd.7z" habe sie jetzt zum 2 mal geladen und kann sie nicht entpacken weder mit 7z oder Winrar.
Hat jemand eine Idee was das sein kann, bzw hat jemand auch den Fehler?

Hat sich erledigt, der Download wurde immer abgebrochen und das Archiv war nicht vollständig.

Mit den Internet Explorer, konnte ich den Download Fortsetzen und dann ging das Entpacken auch =)

Zu den Windrädern... In meiner alten OSM_Europe benutze ich Windräder der OpenSceneryX, w2xp benutzt die Windräder der R2_Library, vermutlich deshalb, weil es sie in verschiedenen Größen gibt. In der config werden die Windräder auf einen Winkel von 180 Grad gesetzt, ich werde das mal auf 0 setzen, neu durchlaufen lassen und auf dem Server updaten.

Wenn du mal heute ~~Nachmittag~~ Abend guckst, unter newest files erscheint dann die w2xp_D+A+CH_hd und dann die neue Szenerie prüfst und mir ein Feedback gibst!?

Ja, wird es bestimmt. Doch nicht gleich.

Noch ne Version würde die User verwirren, 3 sind eh schon verwirrend genug, ich würde das gerne auf 2 beschränken. Und dann sind ja noch einige Dinge anzupassen, das würde ich gerne noch abwarten.

In LSZH habe ich nach dem Wechsel von "w2xp_D+A+CH_beta6.0-xd" nach "w2xp_D+A+CH_osm+ag" einen massiven Einbruch der Framerates von ca. 20 fps auf 8 fps.

Die relevanten Sceneries habe ich alle mal testweise deaktiviert (ausser HD mesh v3) und komme dann trotzdem auf nur knap 14 fps

Muss ich davon ausgehen dass die Performance für die 7.1 auf meinem System nicht mehr genügt (Win 82. 64bit, GTX770 2Gb, 12Gb Memory, i x990) ?

Hallo Ernst,

das sollte eigentlich nicht sein, mit der osm-ag solltest du deutlich höhere fps als mit der früheren xd-version haben. So ist meine Erfahrung und auch die vieler User. Es werden ja deutlich weniger Objekte geladen. Kann dir aber auch nicht aus dem Stand sagen, woran das liegen könnte.

Woran kann das liegen?

die xd-Version hat deutlich mehr Objekte als die hd-Version, sie wirkt voller, das ist normal.

Wenn genügend Gebäude in den OSM-Daten sind, wird eine exclusion gesetzt und keine autogen Häuser angezeigt, w2xp weiß ja nicht, ob die Gegend vollständig abgebildet ist, sondern nimmt an, dass dies der Fall ist, wenn genügend Objekte vorhanden sind.

Bei der xd-Version werden nach bestimmten Regeln weitere Objekte an den Straßen hinzugefügt, unabhängig von der vorhandenen Anzahl der OSM-Objekte.

Ach ja, hatte vergessen den Fehler zu erwähnen im Bild 2 und 3 vom Post hier, das rechte Gebäude hat nur Seitenwände.

Ob der Fehler nur bei mir war kann ich nicht sagen, zu sehen ist Das Forum Mittelrhein in Koblenz (EDRK) Stadt Mitte.

Das wird sicher ein Multipolygon-Gebäude sein mit inner und outer Bereichen. Wenn das ein Einzelfall ist, dann kann man das notfalls so lassen. Ich habe es nicht verbreitet beobachtet. Wie sieht's aus? Kommt das öfter vor?

Kann es in Moment leider nicht nachsehen, da ich wieder die alte Version Installiert habe.
Werde aber bis zum Wochenende noch mal schauen, ob der Fehler auch wo anders auftritt.

wäre es vielleicht möglich auch die w2xp_Netherlands_hd zu korrigieren ? bin da oft unterwegs
