Guys, not sure if you heard about it, it's really awesome. It's like a template for the Saitek Throttle Quadrant. You print it out, cut it and paste it to the throttle quadrant, and you get this in the end!

I like like this. Actually I LOVE this! Where can I get it? Do you know if something similar is available for other aircraft?

I have uploaded it to mediafire http://www.mediafire.com/?txph1ufev5sf07x. It's a .pub file so you can print it out in real size.

I have searched a lot, never found that it's available for other aircraft, but surely would be awesome.

Guy's before i committ to buy6ing this when it is released.

I need to know if there any way of undocking the mcdu for i have a touch screen .

I have built a 767 flight deck in my garage based on the level-d 767 but i have made it in such a way i can move mip maps around for other aircraft.

It is also possible to undock the 2D MCDU an move it to another screen etc.

Hi guys!

It's an amazing work!

I saw some videos of this amazing airplane and i have a question, in every video on landing phase, warning light goes on, i think it's for autothrust's disconnection after aural RETARD, but in real life in landing phase warning for disconnection of autothrust don't goes on, was it just problem of beta?

Thx and congratulations for your work once again!

I have a question. Can I use FPA mode to decend in extended?

BTW What is the "EXPED button" for?

Is it like boeing's Level change button?

Yes, you can use FPA to descend, it works similar to VS except here you set the vertical path in degrees.

The EXPED button isn't currently simulated on the Airbus X Extended.

Thank you. So I must use only FPA or V/S to descend?

But MCDU commands descend also?? Sorry I am confuze..

No worries. Let me try to explain.

The Airbus has 2 modes of flight, Managed Mode and Selected Mode. These are differentiated by either pushing or pulling the knobs on the autopilot panel. Push for Managed, Pull for Selected.

In Managed Mode the aircraft will follow what is programmed in the MCDU.

In Selected Mode the pilot pilot gets to set what the autopilot does. So TRK/FPA in terms of the Track and Flight Path Angle the aircraft would follow will fall into this category.

There are quite a few modes of climb/descent and it does take some familiarisation with each to learn whether they fall under Managed or Selected and what conditions are required for them to be activated.

All good stuff and there seems to me that there is a world of beta testers having huge fun with the WIP.

For me there is more than a little pathos in that Aerosoft has found the 'Lost World ....', while we still wait with bated breath for the Airbus X Extended to be found!

Not necessarily. You can also switch to TRK/FPA while the airplane is in managed/managed mode as it's not directly related to managed or selected modes. But the real benefits of the TRK/FPA will be available in NPAs with selected vertical mode or landings in gusty conditions...

The EXPED button isn't currently simulated on the Airbus X Extended.

Why is it illuminated here then:
