Anybody found more info on what clipped the wing of that 737?

My only guess is that the pilot could have somehow been blinded by the combination of the sun and light mist/fog, but still - strange.

I've seen this elsewhere. The damage to the wing was due to the botched go around. What I don't get is why they didn't go around earlier when they lost visual with the runway? The passenger video shows how far to the left of the centreline they actually touched down. I'll see if I can find the video of the go around from a spotter, it'll curl your hair!

Looks lile the pilot wanted to line up in the last second or if they were hit by a strong wind (maybe a downburst or a very strong thermal on one side of the aircraft pushing it up or down very strong). If the pilot fails to recover correctly it'll take some time until the other pilot may take control and in this time this could have happened. Just a rough spectaculation though.

The wing must have touched the runway pretty hard
