idahosurge 2
With only the left, center, right and both wingtip tanks full (no external tank installed) the fuel gauge only sits at 1600 pounds, is this normal or should it be at 1950 pounds? The Shift+Z FSX info line shows fuel at 100%, but the OV10B gauge only shows 1600 pounds and according to the gauge 1950 pounds would be 100%. Snave 466
Where did you get 1950lbs from? Manual, page 13 POUNDS WING OUTBOARD 471 WING INBOARD 849 CENTER / FEED 234 EXTERNAL 1427 TOTAL 1,554 lbs w/out external tank, 2,981 lbs with. Also please confirm you are using the function of the gauge correctly and combing the feed sources by using both gauges?
idahosurge 2
Thanks Snave. After reviewing page 13 and messing around with the amount of fuel in the tanks it all makes sense. I got the 1950 from the gauge, that is the highest reading the gauge can have.
Snave 466
I've said it before and I'll say it again, reading the fine manual is not optional for this bird, it's mandatory!
