Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted June 29, 2012 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted June 29, 2012 The Installer doesn't find the FSX installation directory. Should be fixed.

Finn 873
It could be that Your computer has lost it´s registry entry for FSX ( not quite uncommon). Go to this site and download the Flight1 registry fix utility for FS9/FSX and run it: http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library Finn

Definitely not, as other installers I used yesterday had no problem, but the Bronco update.

Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted June 30, 2012 Author Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted June 30, 2012 OK, just did another test with the new freeware from Orbx and again no problem. Despite of this I tried the utility from Flight1 and it told me that: But no such entry has been created. But the correct path should be: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0\AppPath And the value there is correct and so all other addons can find FSX except the Bronco Update. BTW.: Of course did I do everything as Administrator.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted July 1, 2012 Aerosoft Share Posted July 1, 2012 I will try to find out where this installer is different then others (though it should not be different).
Root Admin A. Muegge 57 Posted July 2, 2012 Root Admin Share Posted July 2, 2012 Hi, No bug...but an incorrect message.. You have to select the correct path to FSX or PREPAR3D self… No automatically path search because I use this update for both sims. I have already updated the message and the update file self.
