Rudyjo 1
Hi , My first post here. I am interested in buying the Katana. Is there a difference between the download version and the boxed version? Does the boxed version come with the manual while the download would require the manual to be printed? My second question is does the lastest download or boxed version come with the lastest updates or do I have to get the updates after buying the plane? Thank you, it looks like a plane I will spend a lot of time with.
KyleD 1027
Hey Rudyjo, the download version will give you the product fully up to date, with all updates already applied. When Marcel gets done with the 1.4 upgrade, you will be able to access the update from your account once you are registered. If you are using the English page, it's here: http://aerosoft-shop.com/support.php?language=en The manuals come with the download product in .pdf format, and you could print them if you wish. Definitely read through them all, you will need to. If you want to save the ink/paper, yet want the checklists, here is a free checklist from a user on Avsim that is one page and covers everything from startup to shutdown: http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=katana+x&CatID=fsx&Go=Search As for the boxed version, I am not sure if it comes with the updates already installed, Shaun, Mathijs, or Marcel would know. Even if it doesn't, you would just have to go to that account page and they will be there for you to install. And finally, this product is worth every penny and more, just be sure to read the manuals thouroughly and search the support forums if you run into any trouble. It has been out for a while now so pretty much any question you might have is surely in here somewhere.

It is of course available for the buyer!

Rudyjo 1
Thank you, I will order the download. What I enjoy most is Bush flying in the area of ORBX's PNW and Pacific Fjords. It takes a special plane to get me to order something that isn't an Amphibian or on Tundra tires. I'm looking forward to getting this.
