Basler BT-67 X

Recommended Posts

My Developer Team (Manfred Jahn, Alexander Metzger and Hans-Jörg Nägele) and me are working on a freeware addon airplane for Antarctica X!

The Topic says it! It's going to be the Basler BT-67, well known for polar operation.

We've been working on our freeware for about one year now, started june 2011.

At the moment we try to add different specs to our Ski model. Like on the Twin Otter, the skiis can be lowered and raised. This will have an effect, not only visuall, to the way how the airplane reacts on the ground (different FDE's).

Some indoor VC screens:

Marcel allowed us to use his Katana 4X GPS and Nav Display to make our cockpit more realistic.

Windshield wipers are working, sunroof can be opened/closed, ... Interoir textures to be added soon

Next to be added will be 3d lighting (landing lights, strobe, ...)

The exteroir part is finished (ENB mod, REX 2.0 Overdrive, Antarctica X)

Our Basler should be finished very soon!

Just some fixing of VC textures, some exteroir texture updates, getting the models ready, beta testing and finally the release!

Manfred reworked the cockpit, screenshots to come soon!

Greetings, Daniel

Really great work!

:clap_s:

Just one Question: The Polar 5 and 6 can be equiped with special antennas, like the EMR or the Accumulation Radar. Any plans to do this?
