10. Flugsimulator-Konferenz findet wieder in München statt

Highlight des Jahres für Flugsimulations-Fans

Paderborn, 7. März 2012 - Die Deutsche Flugsimulator Konferenz findet 2012 wieder im Deutschen Museum in der Flugwerft Oberschleißheim, bei München statt. Die von der Aerosoft GmbH organisierte Veranstaltung richtet sich an alle PC-Piloten aus ganz Europa.

Nachdem die Konferenz schon 2010 in München gastierte und im vergangenen Jahr am Firmensitz von Aerosoft, dem Airport Paderborn-Lippstadt, wieder viele Besucher anlockte, kehrt sie dieses Jahr zurück zur Flugwerft in Oberschleißheim. In der Flugwerft dürfen sich alle Besucher wieder auf Neuigkeiten aus der Flugsimulator-Szene sowie auf hochkarätige Vorträge freuen.

Im Ausstellungsbereich der Konferenz werden internationale Anbieter ihre neusten Soft- und Hardware Entwicklungen für den PC-Piloten präsentieren. Einen Schwerpunkt bildet hier der neue Flugsimulator X-Plane 10 Global und der bekannte Microsoft Flugsimulator mit seinen vielen Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten. Darüber hinaus stellen virtuelle Airlines, Flugsimulator-Magazine und Internet-Communities ihre Angebote und Aktivitäten vor.

Aerosoft selbst wird die Neuheit „X-Plane 10 Global“ und erste Add-ons dazu präsentieren. Der kürzlich erschienene Flugsimulator markiert den neuen Standard in der Branche und ist mit rund 80 GB Datenmenge weltweit der bisher umfangreichste Flugsimulator. Besucher können sich außerdem über Vorführungen der Betaversionen von Airport Zürich und Airport Lugano für X-Plane 10 Global sowie über Neuheiten für den Microsoft Flight Simulator X freuen.

Auch in diesem Jahr werden wieder viele bekannte Größen der internationalen Entwickler-szene die Konferenz besuchen, unter anderem Oliver Pabst (AES), Andras Kozma (Budapest, Manhattan, Andras Field), Robert Randazzo von PMDG, Björn Comhaire von SimCheck, Lefteris Kalamaras von FSLabs, Volker Heine (FlightSim Commander), Johannes Kimla (Approaching Innsbruck), Thomas Molitor (FS Map, FS Flight Keeper), Eduardo Pacheco (Flymex), Stefan Schäfer von PILOT‘S, Sascha Normann (Lukla, Antarctica…) und viele andere.

Die 10. Deutsche Flugsimulator-Konferenz findet am 24. März von 9 Uhr bis 17 Uhr statt. Der Eintritt ins Deutsche Museum beträgt für Erwachsene 6 Euro und für Kinder 4 Euro. Den krönenden Abschluss bildet wie jedes Jahr das traditionelle Captain`s Dinner mit einer Award Verleihung, erstmalig präsentiert in einer Kooperation des amerikanischen Magazins „Computer Pilot“ und der deutschen Flugsimulations-Fachzeitschrift „FLIGHT!“.

This year’s 10th German FS Conference moves to Munich

The acclaimed exhibition is a much anticipated highlight for all flight simulation fans

Paderborn, 7th March 2012 – Once more, the German flight simulation conference commences at the Deutsches Museum-Flugwerft Oberschleißheim. The event organized by Aerosoft GmbH addresses all PC-pilots from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Two years ago, the premier conference at this location was an overwhelming success. And now it´s back. Visiting the Flugwerft Oberschleißheim on this day will give every interested flight simmer the chance to take an insight to all new developments. Exhibitors from all over Europe will have their products and organizations on display and of course there is a variety of high-quality lectures on offer.

New soft- and hardware developments for the PC-pilots will be presented by international exhibitors on the exhibition floor. This year´s main focus will be the brand new Flight Simulator X-Plane 10 Global as well as the well known Microsoft Flightsimulator with its uncountable add-ons. Furthermore, virtual airlines, flight simulation magazines and internet communities will present their activities and community work.

Aerosoft has the pleasure to present the new “X-Plane 10- Global” plus the first add-ons for this new simulation platform. The recently released simulation has set a new standard in this genre and with its 80GB of data it surely is the most detailed Flight Simulator ever. Visitors will be able to enjoy a first glimpse at the beta versions of the Airport Zurich and Airport Lugano for X-Plane 10 Global.

As always, there is also the chance to get to know the many well known and established developers who have confirmed their attendance. The 10th German Flight Simulation Conference opens on the 24th of March from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Admission at the Deutsches Museum is 6€ for adults and 4€ for children. Members of our Flyers Club are entitled to a reduced price of 3 Euros.

The event will end with the highlight of the traditional Captains Dinner and the following award ceremony hosted by the magazines “Computer Pilot” and “FLIGHT”.
