Bronco reference chart

I knew I needed an afternoon of nothing but bootleg Grateful Dead concert recordings when I found my daughters Backyardigans music replaying in my head. I decided to do something useful, but not too useful, while resetting my personal inner soundtrack.

I did some tests and made a chart showing fuel flow in lbs/hr vs torque. I also made a graph to help when deciding whether adding more power is worth the increased fuel flow.

I added some figures that are nice to have by the keyboard during a flight without refering back to the manual or checklist as well. All weights and fuel quantities are from the FSX load manager.

I chose 700- 1500 ft lbs because at 700 it really starts to hang on the prop and much over 1500 is getting towards the Mil power range as far as temperature goes
