A good case to recall a need to dump fuel without the ability in an A320 was with Jetblue 292 a few years back. Their nose gear wouldn't retract after takeoff and they had to hold for 2 hours to burn fuel to attempt their landing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
