sichars68 0
Hi I have just purchased this aircraft from Aerosoft and I have changed over to XP10, it flies okay on the new platform, but it has some trim issues, my question is are the Carenado aircraft going to be patched to work better/take advantage of XP10. This aircraft is advertised as compatible with XP 9.70+, so I would like to think it will be brought to speed with XP10. Many thanks Simon
AlphaMike 0
I have heard that they will be patched when XP10 settles down. I use the Bonanza successfully in XP10 & have not noticed any significant trim issues. Please clarify.
sichars68 0
The aircraft banks left on takeoff which I know is p-factor/torque, but it does seem to take so much trim until I can actually counter this. This seems a little unrealistic to me, especially as the documentation that comes with the aircraft says aileron trim should be neutral for takeoff. Haven't had the aircraft that long so maybe I need to do a little more time in her to become accustomed. Simon
AlphaMike 0
Just took the Bonanza for a quick spin. I did not notice anything out of the ordinary. It takes a little while to get it stable & trimmed. The roll effects are not as pronounced as say the MU2 nor the Pilatus PC12. I really like the Pilatus because of its instruments but it is much more of a rollercoaster in my inexperienced hands than the Bonanza No offence but I am assuming you do not mean on take off while still on the runway which you would control with rudder. Bye for now
Keld 2
You could try to update the Airfoil. Open Planemaker and find the Batch Airfoil updater. Maybe that helps
CommanderX 2
I don´t know if this still happen, but once you saved the Bonanza in Planemaker the gear won´t detract completely.
sichars68 0
To AlphaMike - No I meant setting aileron trim for when you are airbourne, like in the Mu2. I know you have to use the rudder for control on the takeoff run - but no offence taken. I'll just stick at it and try and get used to the trim. AlphaMike 0
Ok, good luck with that. I think as you say you just need to get used to what you are dealing with. Bye for now .
