Deputy Sheriffs Eric Bakker 736 Posted December 31, 2011 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 31, 2011 For those who like a challenge, I suggest to try to land at Lukla X. It took me several attempts before I managed not to crash in that brick wall at the end. What is YOUR challenge?
Private-Cowboy 3
That sounds quite fun given the higher approach speed of the Bronco.
ebksb123 99
it is indeed difficult, but I think any plane is difficult to land THERE . What helped me was reducing speed as much as possible. Approaching with about 70 knots (and I'm sure it is possibler even slower) made it easy to break; you need only half the runway with reverse and full brakes. I still find it difficult to manage the speed because it needs so much time to react. But I'm getting used to it Hm... challenge... TNCS and TFFJ (Saba & St. Barth) would be fun, I think xD
Finn 873
Ever thought of what 80-100 kts IAS at that altitude equals in groundspeed ? With an approach speed of 100 kts IAS, this equals 115 kts groundspeed. Finn

Finn Every registered user of this forum can calculate this for free now... http://forum.aerosof...ed-forum-users/ But keep in mind that speed versus braking distance is not linear.
