KentV 8
This would be a great little area to model in detail....and to include 8 airports and the 5 major heliports that are there. In particular, it would be great to see a very detailed CBD, etc, as well as surrounding neighborhoods. This would be another great opportunity to model scenery for a small country (as you did successfully in Iceland X). Kent

Paul K 93
Kent, if you look through the thread that PatrickZ links to, you will see that I suggested Singapore a while back. Yes, it would be an ideal project, being a small island with plenty of city scapes and airports. I just hope if its ever done, that Palau Bukom is included. And night textures too, of course. Gawd, how I loved that place !
ebksb123 99
There is already a Singapore, and it's really not bad!!! It's in the "World Airports 4" package included. Definitly not the best quality, but the price is good...
Paul K 93
Yes, but we want the whole island - Raffles and Bugis Street included.
F4PhantomRAAF 1
Well I have the Very Singapore and Imaginesim's Fs2004 WSSS. Very nice indeed. To make the whole island would really require a powerful machine. I would like to see the new Casino in my scenery. As SIngapore has already been done, why not do Cape Town, Kuala Lumpur or other cities which haven't been touched? Or even Sydney. A city scenery (and airport scenery) would rock!!! Mega Airport Sydney with the city and photoreal, my have any of you seen the videos of landing in Sydney???? Landing in Sydney is way more scenic than Singapore! Also if they include the Blue Mountains, would be amazing!!! Maybe it could be done in three parts. Or as a whole. Airport, City and outskirts? And landing at Sydney from the North in the evening at dusk is spine tingling, to say the least!! I wish I had video of it!!! The buildings with the lights are amazing!!! This video is not that clear but you get an idea... : Daniel
Paul K 93
To make the whole island would really require a powerful machine. I doubt it would require any more powerful a machine than one required to run scenery add-ons such as FlyTampa's Hong Kong & Kai Tak, London VFR, or any of Aerosoft's major US cities. Looking at screenshots, it appears that Imaginesim's product only covers Changi airport and not the whole island, so Singapore in its entirety has not already been done; not for FSX anyway. You don't know about The Very Singapore, available for both FSX and FS2004. It is of reasonable quality and when landing you actually feel like you are there, similar to Manhatten by Aerosoft. If you did know about it you would have mentioned it already. I already mentioned it above, and can't understand why you didn't mention it. Thralni 24
The Very Singapore is okay, but not great. It's below Manhattan X quality, but does the job just fine for if you just want something to look at while landing at WSSS. I wrote a review about it for simflight, if you're interested.
F4PhantomRAAF 1
I'm fussy too but I am quite happy with it although it is nowhere as good as the JapanScenery Tokyo I bought (though it cost more than 5 times the amount of The Very Singapore). I have been to Singapore and I have to admit there are just thousands of apartment buildings. More than New York's Manhatten. I think Imaginesim's WSSS is amazing considering the strict security measures of the Singaporean Government. Even spotters have a hard time just taking photos there. And I think Imaginesim has made their finest work at Changi, better than their American sceneries. Well done to them. How many people would purchasea Singaporean city scenery if it was available? Yes I read your review, but I only have the FS9 versions, as the FSX versions have to be bought separately. Daniel
