maddz 737 55 Posted November 30, 2011 Author Share Posted November 30, 2011 Leg 14....it was goin good untill i messed up with the AP.I hold my hands up, i did foggot the to arm the spoilers...but the comment about the throttles being forward was due the quality components used in the saitek throttle quad.. i commanded reverse, it gave me full forward thrust...never mind. maddz 737 55 Posted November 30, 2011 Author Share Posted November 30, 2011 OK, Leg 15...it feels good to be back in my ''play space'', Europe, with its nice mountains, and many addons i have for this area, this is where i do most of my simmin'.This leg was only a short hope over the water, but i think we will all struggle with this one, as the real airport had something like 4 runways, and FSX shows just 1..and the ILS is all over the place, localizer is waaay off. Andreas_W 32 Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 For a Visual Approach you are aligned. BUT FSFS has detected your ILS. Take a look at your HSI. The HSI indicates that you're about 3 degrees left from the centerline. So i think the AFCAD for Florence has wrong values. If you are above 1000ft AGL with those values on your HSI and with runway in sight, switch away from ILS-Frequency to continue as a visual Approach.
