Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted November 11, 2011 Aerosoft Share Posted November 11, 2011 We gathered some images of the, as always, fine event in Lelystad. If there is one sim event you can visit, this is the one to pick! Click on the images to enlarge. An hour before this image the line outside was many times longer! Our own booth was one of the biggest we ever had. Of course Austin Meyers demonstrating X-Plane 10 was the focus of our stand. You know it was the first time even he saw it with the X-Plane 10 scenery? One thing I like about the event in Leystad is the fact there are always many kids. It's good to see them get acquainted with a hobby. The FSWeekend has become the most important event for cockpit builders. This year there were dozens of cockpits, many fully moving, this one is not moving but one of the most impressive. F-104, made up from the real parts. Events like this are great to meet friends and customers. Here some people we were happy to shake hands with. All have a long history in FS, can you name them? Frans Boekhuyzen (right) is the organizer of this event, he took over from me many many years ago and is so experienced now he is actually rather relaxed during the whole weekend. Thanks Frans! Emi 5161
An hour before this image the line outside was many times longer! Like this? I stood there for almost an hour to get in. But in the end it was worth it! I was there last year, I was there this year and I'll be there next year for sure. Anyway it was a little sad that the addon I wanted to buy was already sold out when I went to the Aerosoft stand. But from the other seller who finally had the product I got a 50% discount because he didn't have another thing, so no reason to complain Here are a few pictures I took while being there: The local Aircraft museum was also worth a look. Expecially the 747 BTW, can anyone conform that the 747 was powered? From this picture I would think so and also it would explain why there were weaponed securitymans onboard. Hope you like my pictures
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted November 25, 2011 Author Aerosoft Share Posted November 25, 2011 The bad news is that the museum is bankrupt and it's not sure if it will remain open....

JohnGiezen 6
The bad news is that the museum is bankrupt and it's not sure if it will remain open.... It's said, but it's true. See: http://www.aviodrome.nl/dagje-uit/ in Dutch. But maybe there is a glimp of sunshine at the horizon. See: http://nos.nl/artikel/326519-collectief-doet-reddingspoging-aviodrome.html also in Dutch.
