Rochdale Cowboy 0
The repaints are superb - thank you. I am enjoying the Wilga - what a great plane to fly. I am UK based and do most of my flying via Vatsim in UK. I have no repainting skills at all - wish I had. It is a big ask, but it would be just fantastic to have a UK regsitered repaint of a Wilga to fly - any chance you could use your expertise to create one? The are a few nice UK based examples; G-BUNC or G-BTNS (at least these are based on the standard factory red line paint) http://www.airliners...ee8d56d7bb88bbd http://www.airliners...606b97005e08be1 G-WILG (looks very smart in silver/grey) http://www.airliners.net/photo/PZL-Okecie-PZL-104-Wilga-35/1119029/&sid=5b5142edc612bde84d1413d46d3f387d G-BWDF http://www.airliners...606b97005e08be1 or in standard white G-BXBZ http://www.airliners...606b97005e08be1 Really impressed with the repaint pack - it is a very nice piece of work. Looking forward to any more Wilga paints you can share - do keep them coming. If you are able to produce a UK registration paint I would be very pleased - keep up the good work, we appreciate it. YoYo 49
Use Ctrl+Shift+Y for Tow plane (but needs to change the towplane).
Pivo 3
The default towplane in FSX is the Maule. If you want to change it, have a look at this tutorial. YoYo 49
+ here must change FM model of Wilga (do backup of FM for sure!). Native Wilga cant carry glider, no power for this of model, after take off Model as towplane recived nice stall so use FM of Maule or different model (I hope after patch will be better with this too). mug 4
+ here must change FM model of Wilga (do backup of FM for sure!). Native Wilga cant carry glider, no power for this of model, after take off Model as towplane recived nice stall so use FM of Maule or different model (I hope after patch will be better with this too). Apologies for bringing up such an old post - but I just picked up the Wilga, and one of the things I wanted to do was to replace the default tow plane (Maule) with the Wilga. Ran into the issue mentioned above. Using the Smart Tow function of CumulusX to define the tug and tryed to tow the Discus, but not enough power. Did not replace the air file with that of the Maule, simply increased the HP in the aircraft.cfg to 340 from the defined 260, and that gives it enough to work. Will try the above to see if that is a cleaner solution - but would be nice to not have to flip the config back and forth when I want to fly the Wilga instead of just use it for a glider tug. Any plans to look into the power issue with the flight model? It really is a great plane to use as tug for gliders, from what I have read, it was one of the original design objectives... Otherwise - great job on the Wilga! It is fantastic!!!
