Andreas_W 32 Posted September 27, 2011 Author Share Posted September 27, 2011 Leg3 PAAK to PADK there is a new plane in my hangar: the NGX :-) this is the 1st flight, so she is equiped with test instruments and a satelite antenna now the Nav Display also has VNAV. great. it seems that our VNAV-Profile should be fine with this hill. erm...do this really work? and what will my Flight Instructor Mr. Smith say?? Andreas_W 32 Posted September 27, 2011 Author Share Posted September 27, 2011 Leg5 ATU to UHPP Leaving ATU with my 2nd new plane: the C-130. very heavy, not easy to maneuverate but a lot of space to pick up some cargo. hey, i must somehow fund this trip around the world. so i hired for the UN to transport a little bit cargo from A to B. Andreas_W 32 Posted September 27, 2011 Author Share Posted September 27, 2011 Leg12 RCYO to VHHX ..the final countdown (for this phase) ready for departure.. we're east of the island and have to go to the west side. could this be a way throught the high mountains? the sun goes down and we are approaching Hong Kong Kai Tak in sight almost there, just a small turn very low over high buildings..we're almost there :-S checkerboard in sight turn right, NOW! we're on the glideslope, go ahead Tower: "Andras Meridian 47C, cleared to land" oho! the turn should be wider! we're not lined up with the runway! lined up with the runway now, but too low!!!!
