Huascar 5
All - I received the below email from Just Flight after I asked them why some of the products did not have texture. In short, they said this is due to an installation problem and not the product itself. FSX has a bug and it needs to be installed as follow...... This problem doesn’t appear to be unique to any particular product, but seems to be a fault within Flight Simulator itself. Here is some additional information from another development group: > I have done considerable research as to what > could be the cause of the problem you describe and have had the opportunity > to take up your problem with one of the original FSX developers. He tells me > that this is a known issue related to a known bug in installing FSX SP1 and > SP2/acceleration. Each of the three installs requires this process. Installing FSX and > then installing one or more service packs without flying first and rebooting > creates the internal buffer pool error. Some users have also fixed this issue using the so called ‘Jesus fix’: http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html You should be able to locate quite a few forum discussions regarding this issue if you search for ‘Skeletal aircraft FSX’: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/327683-flying-the-skeleton/ Martyn Northall Just Flight & Just Trains http://www.justflight.com http://www.justtrains.net
