Mr.Düssel 44
Hi dona, it depends on how you treat the little Katy... My last engine, I had to change, is in a good condition and runs since 45 hours now. Cheers, Stephan
bliksimpie 14
i mean how can i khnow How much time is left until the engine wear and what is the life time of the engine how many hours Like in real live there is no meter telling you hours till "death do us part" of the engine.. I have now just over 36 hours and she is purring along.. Like Stephan said.. It all depends how you treat her. That is the beuaty of this sim.. you just dont know, until you see things go wrong during maintenance/service visits. This will be good indication when you need to start replacing things, that things is going "bad" with your engine/plane.Regular service and maintenance and operating within parameter will give you lots of hours flying.. Just remember it is not only engine that deteriorate, but also the plane. The wheels/electical components/wings struts/landing gear. So you might find you break plane but engine is 100% perfect. there is a way to cheat to see how much your plane got left but now you don't wanna do that, do you..? Snave 466
There is no finite limit. It depends on many factors. What you do is keep a close eye on the maintenance requirement, fix thibgs as soon as they start to go wrong or replace them when they persistently show accumulated wear and tear or damage. Snave 466
Snave, you can probably answer this; what's the TBO on the real Rotax? One the certified versions? 1,500 or 2,000 hours, depending on serial numbers as later models go longer
