Aerobird 11 Posted April 30, 2011 Share Posted April 30, 2011 A big apple requires a big bird so I decided to fly the Boeing 747-400 from rwy. 19 at BIRK using flying in a direct line to KJFK., approx. 2200n.m taking about 6.4 hrs. Runway was too short really, but I kept brakes on while firing up the engines to max before starting to accelerate. It was a close call for sure. Took a few pics as well.
