This is frustrating. Autopilot was turned on after selecting cruise and off before landing mode, respecting the 1000 ft AGL rule.

I dont understand the bad rating on landing. For the procedure I was supposed to have the NAV1 tuned to IES (ILS for rwy 4), to get DME readings for an NDB/DME RWY22 approach. I corrected the OBS to the correct QFU of the runway I was landing at, made a fine approach and landing and yet the worst landing score I ever got.

Hi Manuel,

I know... It's ridiculous... But I have the faith that i'll be able to nail it!

From my studying, i guess the problem would have been to fly it out of 2B2.

So, I intend to arrive very lightweight (no pax or cargo), with very low fuel (FAA won't be there right?) and with my nose held up in the air.

Moreover, I will use a technique that I learned at Flying school, namely to land at a local airfield (checkout photos of LPIN - Espinho), where you use the WHOLE runway (that meaning the grass before it too!) ;)

z_espinho.jpg

Since 2B2 has good clearways and hopefully a little headwind, i'm feeling confident!

plum_island_43.jpg

And obviously Mr. Smith will whine and moan, and complain that it was OFF the runway... (but doesn't he do that all the time anyway?) :D:P

Last flight of Part 1.

A very lousy score due to an Autopilot screw-up! I forgot to enabre cruise mode before setting the autopilot, even despite being at 9.000ft...

The landing score was very poor also, but that has an explanation. I needed a perfectly hard docking in order to get that JS41 stopped on time.

I NAILED IT!!!!

Video of the feat will be posted on the screenshots post.

:) :) :)

Still got the off runway thing, but it was my fault. I didn't "make runways" after installing the great "Hundred Dollar Burger" addon!
