vuong 0
Hi Jimmy, The colour of seats and upholstery is no problem to change. I'll look into it when I get home :-) Hi Dag, I managed to make the seat darker but changing the upholstery is out of my ability This is the VNAF UH1 during the Vietnam war Jimmy
Jaeger 1
I checked for some cockpit pics of the UH1, from particular interest was for me the cockpit color. The Smithsonian Institute has a 360° walkaround from a UH1H. http://www.nasm.si.edu/interact/qtvr/uhc/images/hueyB.mov Jaeger

Fireball6 9
Dag - Great Job, as always. You did a fantastic Job on both paints. You raise the bar for all of us "repainters" ! I found a very helpfull Drawing in the Book "Bell UH-1D >>Huey<<" of the D-HATE, operated by the german "Bundesgrenzschutz" - now "Bundespolizei". After a lot of try and error I am nearly where I want to be. Some small adjustments and she should be ready to lift off. Greetings Dirk

Leorstef 0
Looks great Leo, I am off to patrol the Appalachian mountains Thanks, except I was flying it last night and noticed I forgot to color the framework in front of the windows. I have posted a corrected version of the repaint to the downloads section. Sorry about that folks.

DavidT 1
Man i'd love to give that Israeli bird a shot. I can only imagine what a pain it is lining up the camo pattern. Having enough problems trying to find the parts on this bird.
Moshe 16
is this a "yes", Dave?

Having enough problems trying to find the parts on this bird. Well, I can tell you the upper left corner on "Bell205-001.psd" is where the small framework on the windows is colored at. Looks like a couple stripes. That's what I missed on my repaint and had to correct. There are a couple other stripes like that on "Bell205-003.psd". One between the tail sections is the tube antenna on the tail. The other one behind the lower tail section is the tail skid. I never have figured the other ones yet you show in your picture either. It's like the box antenna underneath. It should be white. I found the bottom of it easy enough, but even with a colored/numbered grid overlay, still never could figure out where the side are mapped from. DavidT 1
is this a "yes", Dave? I've painted one Israeli bird before but it wasn't camouflaged. Sure i'll give it a shot i like a challenge. The sides of the square box-like antenna on the lower surface are mapped from an area just in front of the box on the lower texture. Consequently if you want to have white sides to the box, the area fwd of the box needs to be white too... would you believe it. There are some weird mappings on this bird. (Thirdwire series) http://combatace.com...8-israeli-uh60/ Thanks for the link and the info, I did not even realize this one exist. Lots of Israeli stuff there that look like an improved version of the "Blue Star" from 15 years ago... cool.
