Cheyenne - Trimble2000: editing fpl (SID/STAR)

I have read several forums where people complain about the failure of FPL edits (added SID/STAR). Has long been struggling with it and I. Line is drawn and prints correctly, but after takeoff GPS jumps to the first point of the original tracks (v4.0, FS9). In adding line is distance between points 0 km. Is there a way to eliminate this?

I once edited for a Cheyenne from ISG FMC (GNSXLS) http://fsbuild.com/f...cheyenne#p11279 , but I would like to use the original addon.

Hello;

Have you tried planning a flight with the Fsx planner,and saving it in the Piper Cheyenne flight plan folder,I have the nav data from navigraph for the plane,I've flown a couple of flights,but I always just use the Fsx planner for the aircraft,the plan is going to use the nav data from navigraph for the trimble.

Hello Folks,

The advice was given by one of the developers from DA.

Displaying 0Nm is an indication that the flightplan is not properly understood. This maybe from an error in the procedure. Try a different airport and try the following sequence: departure airport - destination airport - SID - route.

Mezek,

Could you please e-mail me your flight plan as they are corrupted.

I would say that an idea would be to use a 3rd party flight planner and add your SID/STARs into that and then load it into FS and then the Trimble.

HelloMezek,

A flight plan with SIDs/STARs does not have to be used online only, they can be used offline as well!

As for the zip it seems corrupted and will not open. You need to place them in a folder of there own first then zip up that folder.

Hi,

I'm new to this forum, but I'm really interested in buying the Cheyenne to fly it on VATSIM.

I know the plane has navigraph update capability, so it's OK, but I've seen on a few sites people reporting they have problems when trying to fly SIDs/STARs with it. Have you managed to get to the root of the problem yet?

Two more questions I have about the Trimble2000:

1) Can you create a flight plan manually by adding waypoints before start-up and take off, or do you have to create a flight plan in FS flight planner and "load" or "export" it into the Trimble2000?

2) Is there a "direct to" option allowing you to skip several waypoints, go directly to a selected waypoint and continue as planned after reaching this point?

Thanks in advance. Regards.

Thanks, I looked at pretty much most of the stuff about Piper Cheyenne on the old forum and it still doesn't give me a definite answer on Cheyenne's capability to fly SIDs/STARs. Like I said, I want to use it for VATSIM flying, so it's really important for me.

OK, according to the official info it has the SID/STAR capability, but every now and then there are people posting questions or describing problems with that. I haven't seen a definite and comprehensive answer, so I'm still not sure. I've also noticed quite a lot of people asking questions or reporting problems with Tremble2000 - direct to, changing FPL, etc....

Regards.

Hello;

Sorry i couldn't be much help,I just usually program a flight with Fsx planner,and then load it,and go,I was looking at the navigraph data for the Cheyenne,there is no Sid/Star folder,just an airport folder for data.
