Awesome cockpit training site

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Haven't made a post in awhile, but I stumbled across this website. It's actually really cool, and the perfect thing if you are looking to become more familiar with the controls and layouts of select aircraft. basically, you can pick an aircraft and it will bring you to a page with and image of the cockpit and a little description of the plane. you can mouse over the different areas and it will tell you a bit about them. when you click on the area it will bring you to a zoomed in view of the specific instrument or region depending on where you clicked. Then just like the main view, you can mouse over, and it will tell you what each switch does, or if its an instrument, it will tell you what the parts of the instrument indicate. it doesn't really show how to use the controls(procedure wise) but if you already know the basic principles and functions needed to fly an airliner, then this is great for getting to know where things are. At the very least I found it much easier and more fun then the layout descriptions found in most manuals. Anyway, have fun and happy simming happy.gif
