Do you Photoshop this pictures or you have a amazing grass texture?

Hi Becas

Of course, this is real raw material of FS2004! It's not photoshoped, it's an own created, and modified grass texture using GMAX!

So there is allways more fun and realism to simulate real flights in Flightsim!

I am using it probably for all big Addon Airports from Aerosoft or on the russian Airfields and some others too!

Btw. here's another little picture from my landing with Air Baltic Boeing 737-500 at VUO today!

I remember some ideas like "show us a comparison". Well, that should not be a problem. You'll see first the simulator (2006), then you'll see the reality as it still is in my mind. (The reality of 2012 still is different from that.)

And this view is what I'm painfully missing:

They always very fast tear something down, but their view does not contain the future. Afaik, today there's nuthin like the desert, which in my eyes is a shame for such a good town. :hi_s:

The older guys might remember Benicio del Toro and Johnny Depps town:

The Frontier, Klondike, Stardust, Sahara and ok,

some cute classic places have really been replaced by huge modern resorts even in times before that worldwide known movie was filmed on location

, The Sands, Desert Inn Golf Hotel & Casino (which now is the first hotel expansion which is not yet included on the left side in my simulator screenshot..),

The Dunes,...

But today there are too many places left to the desert.

I want that "Las Vegas Strip 02" view back (see above)!

Yes, and I've found one of my newer fs9 screenshots. A really classic 747-100 who have found their gate after a good Intercontinental flight. And you can guess, which airport is this?

I have to admit, there is no aerosoft product involved, and this 741 livery is mounted on my 747-200. Who can explain the technical difference between 741 and 742?

Btw, The orange jet in the background is none of them. It rather again seems like the long gone Braniff, who in fact never owned 744 (as you would expect from the screenshot).

So many interesting airports are not supported by aerosoft. But you'll find out which Terminal this is, don't you.

I'm a little bit disappointed, as I've to answer myself, so where are those transatlantic colleagues who can identify this terminal?

Well, I'll give the solution, but some colleagues (EI, AZ, BA, CX and SK among many others) MUST know this airport. Well, it's as simple as that, it's the T 5M at KORD (fsdt), filmed at an estimated 125° angle.

So, nobody knew the answer, and I can set up another question? Well, ok.

Aunt Edith says: I love this midnight radio series in the radio. [stau mit Zucchero auf der A63 Richtung Lautere wg eines unüberholbaren Schwertransporters...] :-D

I've got another picture for you. This picture does NOT mean that ..J'aime la France" more than everything else. But my favourite airline does not provide EDDL - Marignane flights.

So, we like airlines who fill the gap. :-)

Aunt Edith says: Eric is our master! [Mr. Clapton, don't you like to play some guitar in the soccer stadiums that are near to us? :-D]

Oh, by the way, this is the picture (Marignane and East of this beautiful big town), I'd have almost have forgotten it, so enjoy this one:

.

And this is my question. Which airport is this, ICAO-code?

Let me give 1 hint. I am able to land at this European airport with all aircraft that I've ever flown (see my profile), so you don't have to look for rwys that are all too short.

Edit: The nightflight pictures that I've posted in this thread so far are a little bit tricky to specify. So I can tell you. The last two or three night flights (which I didn't sell to deluxemusic tv ;-) ...) was the relation PHNL-RJAA and back, the first and second flight with NW 742 "bowlin shoes" (fsx), the third and fourth flight with NW 744 "bowlin shoes" (fsx).

The next two or three flights in my second world tour will also be announced in this thread, as you're used to it.

Well, we do sell US Cities: Las Vegas and that comes pretty close I think:

Last days, i thought "Why am i always flying the 737-800WL??? I´ve bought 4 other aircraft too :D So i took the 737-900WL and did some flights in the KLM livery. Took some screenshots while flying, one on the apron in LIRN and one during the climb ;)
