Hello Folks,

Welcome to Sundays Quiz on the 26th September 2010.

Okay folks, I snapped this a little awkwardly but can someone tell me about this flying machine.

Is that a aircraft at all? Kinda looks like the remains of a plane crash...

Its amazing what you can do with a bit of balsa wood glue ;)

My english is not the best, but it is a RC Aircraft. We can see a Gear, in German we call it "Spornrad" and the Elevator(Spornrad=to control the RC Aircraft on ground In the Front we see the Maingear of this RC Aircraft (Remote Control)

Should be a Modell of "PAF-TRAINER" Looks same

Frank

Reminds me about the Spaceship one / Knight carrier combination...

well good point the White Knight was the best match but not sure it is that one

Update 10:03

Or KARI's endeavor - Tilt-rotor UAVs

even the most seasoned aircraft expert should not be expected to have to know the variety of remote control planes.... seriously, its getting a little slly :P

Hello Liam,

Not just any remote control aircraft but a serious one.

http://www.fanwing.com/ Shown at Farnborough too.

Are you asking me or telling me ;)

Either way yes it is :)

Sorry, I meant YES this is the FanWing lol.

lol sounds funny as just like sayeing it is the FanWing, it would then be the same as sayeing hay its a boeing and dont say what the type it is. check the link from shaun. 2 names are shown and bothe are nealy the same way just whit small difference as the other have 2 tails as an prototype. (FanWing twin-tailed OHS prototype) and (FanWing STOL UAV) as told before. but cool if wee gona see it some day as cargo plane for short distances as the guy behind was talking about they hope to find partners. have attached the 2 types.

but at Farnborough it was the FanWing STOL UAV as the "FanWing twin-tailed OHS prototype have just been tested September 22" taken from the web page
