liam12189 0
Hi, i know this has already being brought up but since i don't own (or want to purchase) a joystick, will there be a fix to allow us to control the throttle using f1,2,3,4? Thanks
Andy B. 40
There is a relatively complicated way of doing it if you absolutely insist on not buying a joystick but you would still need to pay for the registered version of FSUIPC to achieve it. Take a look at the thread below and assign the FADEC LUA commands to the function keys instead of to axis detents. http://www.forum.aer...showtopic=37876

ThrottleUp 1
I am really curious - how do you fly without a joystick? Its pretty much essential to enjoy flight sim just buy the joystick why make it harder for yourself I totally agree - you can get a stick with built in throttle lever for very cheap these days you dont have to spend tons of money! Of course in the end its your right to do whatever you want but you are just making it harder for yourself I feel and will not be able to enjoy flying as much! I dont know which country you are in but here in the UK these are the cheapest sticks I could find and they all have a throttle lever: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sweex-GA200-USB-Vibration-Joystick/dp/B001HBCV9E/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=computers&qid=1284294611&sr=8-7 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Saitek-Cyborg-V1-Stick-PC/dp/B001MGNWDI/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1284294575&sr=8-12 http://www.amazon.co.uk/ThrustMaster-2960623-Thrustmaster-USB-Joystick/dp/B00006AMA2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1284294611&sr=8-2 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logic-3-Starfighter-Joystick-PC/dp/B00005JTBG/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1284294630&sr=8-

ThrottleUp 1
Cool You will wonder how you did without it once you start using it hee hee. Definetly get one with a throttle lever. I stress that because there are a few stick out there that have buttons for throttle control which is utterly pointless (might as well use the keyboard then!). However there are not too common so its not an issue these days. Another essential feature is a hat switch which lets you look around easily.
