Hi

Here comes a series of pictures taken under a flight from ENKJ - Norway down to Andras Field in a P36 Curtiss Hawk. It airplane was used in Little Norway in 1941 to train norwegian pilots.

Nice Fred, did not belive that this one can fly the route without a technical stop for fuel. Hopefully you can show me this bird in detail sometime  ;)

I hade to make a stop in Braunschweig, but did not take any pictures there :(

  • 2 weeks later...

i was in fulda 2 weeks ago on a business trip and found something out above this "hill".

In Fulda and the surroundings is a huge salt mine and the disposal is stored on that hill. The hill just gets wider but not higher anymore. Otherwise it has to be changed as a mountain in the landmarks :)

was pretty interesting too see this thing.

And approx. 20km away from this hill is the "Wasserkuppe" - the beginning of gliding :)

Great post Fred. Great pics.

But you need to update your Andras Field software - you are not using the latest version.
