Alex Stephenson 0
Hi, In another post it was revealed that Aerosoft will not support DX10 Preview mode in FSX. I think that its a real shame that DX10 preview will not be supported. I have a pretty fast computer as follows; Intel i7 930 Overclocked to 3.0ghz Corsair Dominator GT 2000mhz DDR3 6GB RAM Gigabyte X58A-UD7 7200rpm 750Gb HDISK Nvidia Geforce 9800 GX2 Running FSX with DX10 preview gives me a steady 36 FPS with Mega Scenery and sliders almost all full. Disabling DX10 Preview reduces my frame rates to between 9 - 17 FPS. With graphics cards now supporting DX10 & DX11, I think that enabling the boost in performance is the way forward. Why would Aerosoft not want to take advantage of DX10? I am sure there are a lot of people who rely on DX10 Preview mode and if Aerosoft products support DX10 then those people would be able to purchase more products, as I would. Aerosoft scenery products are fantastic, however I may not be purchasing any further scenery as it does not support DX10 Preview. I hope that other customers who feel the same way back my request for Aerosoft to re-consider their position on DX10. Regards, Alex.
Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello Alex, Does FSX itself have bugs when running in DX-10 mode? Also this argument has been posted and answered before so I'm going to close this thread.
