You don't think about the numbers until someone asks. I first guessed low.

  • A desktop, netbook, work computer (I do have to do "homework" on weekends), Winmobile device and a Moto Droid that's always connected for me
  • A desktop, laptop, and Moto Droid for my wife
  • My wife's sewing machines (3) connect for firmware updates and downloading embroidery designs
  • Windows home server
  • The BD player is wired for streaming video
  • The Sony reader connects for books and work reading (and firmware updates)

I'll probably lie awake tonight after simming wondering what I forgot mellow.gif

It came to me as I shut down for the night. The printer. It apparently "phones home to Mama" when ink gets low and checks on the price for consumables, then let's me know the best price from the manufacturer.

Good morning :)

1 Desktop PC : FSX (real weather via ASE), nearly always online

2 Notebooks (1 at work, 1 at home)

1 Netbook (when I´m on vacation or when waiting for my friends in the Biergarten :-) )

1 Cellular Galaxy S (Android) when riding the subway

Let's see what i can find,

5x PC's, all in use

4x Internet compatible cell phones

TV is internet compatible but not used for that (It's a tv after all)

1x PS3

Not many but still 10 which is surprising. On the flying front, real world weather is always used, makes flying far more interesting.

All I can come up with is 2 pcs one tv and one mobile phone. Unless my son is on leave from the RAF with his laptop but that doesn't really count

Oh dear, I don't think I'm going to be much use to you:

1 x Main comp for FS9 and a little FSX but it's not quite macho enough.

1 x My laptop for working

1 x Fiancée's laptop for working

And that's it. It would appear we are quite stone-age ;-)

I have a number of devices connected to the internet -

1x Desktop PC

2x Laptops

2x iPhones

1x iPod touch

1x iPad

1x Wii

1x Wi-fi Printer

2x Cable Boxes

11 devices for a family of four.

I have found that nowadays it is very necessary to have your FS PC connected to your internet. Being an avid user of VATSIM and a member of a virtual airline, I need the connection. I also purchase and download payware as well as freeware. The connection makes it much easier to activate the products.

Want to smile?

I send an IP scanner to a 5 people who responded here (people with a lot of devices), asked them to switch on everything that had a power plug or battery and see how many IP's address there were in use. 3 of the 5 found more IP addresses used then they expected so they had more things connected then they knew about.
