Weelde, the airport I glide in real life, also has a lot of rabbits...

Believe me, it hurts a lot when you hit a rabbithole with your one and only wheel at 60 km/h!!

Let's see if I can get a decent screenshot of these furry monsters!

There was one rabbit that heard about the new Park in Andras Field and really wanted to take a sight seeing tour of it.

Jumping all over the park (with a little help from his friends) they were looking for a tour agency for rabbits.

Just about to give up, he got the message that the Andras police night patrol is going up looking for a lost couple

who were seen fighting and disappeared. Oh... the rabbit thought... here is my chance...

so now he is holding tight ready to go up! (no edit done to the photo) :D

OK - This was getting out of hand - I had to call in a professional....

wrabbit2copy.jpg

... And right next door to me, our famous hero was coming up behind that little critter while his driver was trying to cut the rodent off with the truck! Pretty exiting stuff for a Monday Evening at the Air Park!!!!!

wrabbit1copy.jpg

... but I really think there should be a code of ethics adhered to by our contractors - this just seems wrong....

Oh btw, before people start to whine this is not realistic. The airport my (half) Cub calls home was infested last year. Over 5000 euro damage in total from aircraft that got wheels in the holes.

As realistic as it gets! I once killed one with the eurofox trainer when landing.

But now my new office got those little visitors too. Please come and help me out !

Ladies and Gentlemen

We have a siauation here.

This morning I assembled a highly skilled and professional team of rabbit exterminators. Due to the number of rodents, my team dressed up for the occation and went to work.

As you can see on these pictures I myself took of the attack, the team underestimated the rabbits, and suffered a fatal blow.

How do you embed an image in a post as a 'clickable' thumbnail like above? Have not posted too many pictures before and am just doing the straight IMG link to photobucket.

Hey Mug,

I wanted to know also, just tried attaching as a file (there is an option below) and it looks like it

Moshe

That does it Moshe!!! So attaching as a file instead of inserting an image is the trick?

Anyhoooo - your picture of the bunny taking a ride on the heli still looks great!!!! I think it should be a winner! That's some tricking screen shot capturing!!!!

Thanks a lot Mug... took some engineering to get this. I like the thumbnail idea better because the resolution can be kept without forcing it into the forum. It is better that way I guess.

Thanks again,

Moshe

OK – this is REALLY out of control! The Rabbits have mutated!!!!

Tuesday Evening around 1800, a quiet evening on Artwick Avenue... Elmer, the contracted Wrabbit Catcher was organizing his crates of captured bunnies. He was just about to start loading up his truck, when all of the sudden ..... the mother of all rabbits appeared on the horizon! Now this was not an ordinary hare! It towered above the Aerosoft Hanger by 2 fold! It was wider than the taxi-way road – maybe the full width of a Catalina!

No time was wasted in calling in the authorities. The local police, an ambulance and a fire truck from the Air Field were on site right away. Meanwhile, a crowd of residents began to gather on lot AF01 to watch the standoff...

The Mother of all rabbits had its keen eyes aimed right at Elmer’s crates of captured bunnies. This was just an ugly scene!

I skedaddled back to the Air Field on the double and climbed into my 185 – I figured some air support was going to be needed.... But wait! The Vintage Warbird society at Andras! I wonder how many of those folks I could muster... and ummm... just how authentic and complete their planes really are... if you know what I mean!

Wabbit, hearing his furry brethren are at risk around a previously unknown "Andras Field", vows to advocate their right to peaceful co-existence. ;)

As he sets out from Emma Field to Andras Field on his (humanitarian ?) mission, we are left to guess which type of aircraft will now display this logo !
