Andkozma 1
Nearly - there is only a small problem zone to the weat fo the lake (see attached image). Lake itself is without steps now. Wow, that looks awful. The lake is higher than land. The problem is that it is ok on my PC, so I need to investigate further... Andras
ManuelL 71
I am getting there after disabling the files. Only one little step left at the southernmost corner of the lake. Something I could live with if it can't be fixed. Otherwise the lake is not higher than the surrounding terrain for me. All looks fine there. Andkozma 1
Nearly - there is only a small problem zone to the weat fo the lake (see attached image). Lake itself is without steps now. So it seems some further steps are needed: Go into your FSX(path)\scenery\UtExcl\scenery\ folder Find two files named: HLU5015E.bgl HPU5015E.bgl Do not delete them, just rename those to anything else i.e. HLU5015E.bbb or something like that. Open your terrain.cfg in the main FSX folder. Find two UTX specific entries there: Name=UT_Ocean Name=UT_INLAND_LARGE_ROUND_PERENNIAL At both entries change the value of the FlattenMode=xxxx entry from slope to none: FlattenMode=slope to FlattenMode=none Let me know if it works. Andras Could be FSGenesis' mesh, though. But this is something I could live with, really. EDIT: Trying your new suggestions now, will report later. It is how UTX changes many terrain.cfg settings and excludes ALL default water in Europe. Andras
ManuelL 71
I tried it and everything is looking good now for me Thanks a lot for the help Andras!
Cody Bergland 4
I can confirm Andkozma that this works. I'm just curious about what the ramifications of doing so are. Either way, it allows me to film.
