hello,

I'm not sure if this has been asked before (but i can't find it, using the search funktion), and i'm not sure if you can answer it already, but are sid/stars included in the advanced version? (yes, i know that you don't know much about it at this point of time,

but which systems get reworked, what do you expect (NOT WHAT YOU PLAN, BECAUSE I KNOW THAT YOU DON'T PLAN ALREADY, do you?)

The good thing about FSX is you can put whichever sounds you want in; I always modify mine anyhow. Nice to know Aerosoft is putting some decent ones in and we can feel free to change as per our needs and opinions!! Those are nice though on your video.

No news on advanced version yet as well as it its features. They are focusing the basic verson first. This has been covered LOTS! Do some better searching on the forum. Airbus X looks awesome already!

From what I can see on YouTube, that guy has produced his own sounds, they're not TSS.

Have you experienced TSS first hand. I have alot of their fsx soundsets and I'm very happy with them. Very realistic.

They are absolutly amazing.

All the checklists will be available in this format as well (still needs a bit of work though and note the overhead panel really is this dark with the aircraft cold and dark)

Nice! That will save a lot of time looking for knobs... Although I think (hope) the manual will show everything in detail too!

Personally I always make my own versions of checklists: I like to remove everything you only have to check, because with the right situation loaded a knob that should be off will always be off (for instance). This usually saves a LOT of time during startup. I suppose the Airbus will only come with complete checklists and not er.. abbreviated ones? Not that I mind because I kind if like to create my own checklist that has everything on it that I personally want or need! I usually also add things which normally aren't on checklist at all (like everything you need to set or check for a landing). It's some sort of combination of a checklist and a tutorial. I also do this because after some time you may want to fly another aircraft and when you get back to an older one you usually have forgotten how everything worked and how you used to do things: with my 'checklist' you've got everything you need on one piece of paper. Creating those papers is almost a hobby on its own. On the other hand... it wouldn't be a bad idea if developers would add such a complete 'tutorial-checklist' (with all the mandatory info on it) for their aircraft!

Hi,

I have been watching this topic from beginning and... I admire Admin's patience to answer the same q regarding SID's/STARS. For me it will be fine if I can program them myself. I have two Q's from me - I believ that they have not been discussed yet - if yes, please accept my apolgies - it is not ignorance.

1. Will it be possible to save a route or manually added waypoints?

2. Sounds. Can you let me know if purchasing sets from other custom made designers - I mean TSS - is worth? The issue is that I am willing to add a little extra to reality and I realize that simply one designer can not focus on everything at the same time. If he could, the price of product would be enormous.

So you say a Youtube vid with 8 bith sound of a FS2004 addon (rather limited in sound capability compared to FSX after all) is the benchmark we should aim for? That is better then our own recordings of the cockpit sounds? Without having heard any of the sounds we included in the simulator?

The video sure has some great sounds in it. Not very realistic but very effective. I like it. You can of course always insert those sounds as long as you accept that the sound do not match the animations and will not have any 3d effects because it is FS2004 style.

yes you get, but none with an answer where it says if sid/stars are included in the advanced ore not, and even if i missed one result where the answer to my question was, things maybe changed during time...

maybe i talked a litte misterious... i meant that i can't find an answer which is useful for me. it always says that you don't know what will be included, and so i thought you may have thought a little about the new version, as we're getting closer to the release of the standart version! so, did you?

and is the release for the normal airbus x still planned for the end of this month? (SORRY IF I'VE MISSED A POST WHICH TELLS ME THAT IT'S NOT, please just tell me, OK?)

btw, the box of the bus (i mean the picture in the onlinestore) looks really great, something in other colors then "normal" add-ons, right? think that would get my attention if i'm in a shop and wanna buy a new add-on... (that's exactly what you want these colours to do, right?)
